Nathan Boal 

 

Nathan Boal grew up in Corvallis, Oregon and received his Bachelor of Arts degreein music from Valparaiso University in Indiana with emphases on saxophone performance,conducting and music theory. He continued his studies at the University of Oregon and recentlyperformed his Master’s saxophone recital. Nathan has performed as a concerto contest winner withthe Valparaiso University Symphony Orchestra, performing Alexander Glazunov’s Concerto in Ebmajor; with the Oregon State University Wind Ensemble as featured soloist, performing Claude T.Smith's Fantasia for Alto Saxophone; and with the Corvallis-OSU Symphony Orchestra, performingHenri Tomasi's Concerto pour saxophone alto et orchestre. Nathan lives in Eugene, Oregon withhis wife and daughter, and their cat companions, where he also teaches privately.
